Helou! I have some tiny suggestions to add to the game!

==Charge Attack Meter in HUD==
I was wondering if it would be possible to put a charge meter on the UI for charged attacks. I know the UI design is very well done and minimalist, relying on simple icons and visual cues instead of a flood of meters, dials, and whatsits flooding the screen (*coughWoWcough*), and that charging your weapon and waiting for the shine is a nice throwback to a Zelda sword spin! But sometimes it is difficult to judge when to let loose a charge attack, especially when in a crowd of other charging players or when switching between different weapons with differing charge times. A meter would be nice to help calculate the time. Perhaps it can appear only when it is needed?

==Antiboring Elevator Waiting==
It is very boring to wait for elevators to change to the stage you want. I know all elevators on a particular gate on a particular depth are linked in real-time, but I was wondering if it was possible to implement some kind of mini-game to speed up the change time for your instance?

Or if is this is not possible at all, how about simply adding a fun little slot machine near the elevator that you can choose to sink some loose change crowns into? It can pay out extra crowns or extra heat, or perhaps even modify the Prize Wheel if you win! Just something fun to do while waiting instead of twiddling fingers, (though staring at the amazing backgrounds on High Graphics passes the time very nicely!)

==Gun Idea==
I love my Valiance so much! It doesn't have as much DPS as other weapons, but the knockback and quick shooting feels good. But the charge attack is nearly useless! I was wondering if it was possible to make the charge attack improved? Instead of a huge ball that does double the damage of a normal shot, whose time spent charging could be better spent on firing off several more normal shots, how about making it a shot that pierces (not the damage type) through several enemies? Or what about the charge shot also having some kind of quick defensive melee attack in a small arc in front of the player, like a sword swipe? After all, the Valiance does have a nice little bayonet on it! What does it do? It feels like one of those unnecessary plastic Wiimote add-ons, huhuhu.

Thanks for reading my suggestions! Thank you for the wonderful and unique game! /wave

Charge attack meter wouldn't

Charge attack meter wouldn't hurt the game in any way at all, so I support that, a nerf to the Valiance would be good. It's just the elevator waiting. It would be unfair if you could manipulate the prize wheel or the next depths with a few crowns to get even more crowns...maybe a timer would be better.

There actually did used to be

There actually did used to be a charge meter the way older version of the beta (Jan 2010 or so), but apparently OOO removed it with no signs of bringing it back it seems.

You can see how that was like in these two videos (courtesy of Fallout):

Ahaha, maybe you are right.

Hiii Ambient!

Ahaha, maybe you are right. But knowing the way slot machines in casinos work, the payouts can be calibrated so that it is fair, and at the same time it can be a little crown sink for the economy. Don't forget that one would sink crowns into this for the off-chance that they could win some back, and we're talking about w500-w1000 profits only if you are lucky. After all, this is just a measure to pass the waiting time. It would never ever be a viable alternative to making money, but it would help along some lucky newbie willing to take the risk, and I like that idea.

And as for Prize Wheel manipulation, I was simply suggesting that one of the rewards of the hypothetical slot machine would be to make the Wheel have a slightly better chance of giving something better, not an outright pick-and-choose. But it's not like the better prizes on the wheel are game-breaking, aside from that chroma head (which I still have not gotten, not even once, since prize wheel implementation!) And, after a long chain of consequences it would encourage the shadow key farmers, who have to pay a flat CE fee to open lockboxes anyway.

Also, there's this detrimental feeling that a slot machine on every elevator would suggest that the mysterious builders of the Clockworks were not only incredibly mechanically inclined, but also had some kind of crazy, incurable gambling addiction. But then again, most everything in this game is becoming a gamble these days, is it not...?

But a nerf to the Valiance? Whyyy? I was suggesting the opposite! ( ;~;)

Volebamus: Ooh! Neat! Perhaps they removed it because of a design decision, but I'd love that back!
