cancel the DA update

the newest update has crossed the line too far
i can ignore the over priced silver key, the shadow key which OOO announced as new map to challenging pro players and end up to be a boost of silver key sale
But what i CANT take is this secretly done unannounced update to my favorite sword Divine Avenger
it decrease the range and efficiency of the sword's charge attack, which was the advantage it has against GF's cursing ability
Also the visual change of both making the sword's aura less shiny as well as the fact that now the three swords are first stocked together make it look unbelievably less intimidating.

In conclusion with all negative emotions aside. I can logically tolerate the bug fix for the range of DA's charged atk fix.
But the visual should have been changed back to the old time glory with only cancellation of the ghost block tricks

I started this game because DA, i paid for this game because I want a perfect DA. I now have a DA with both max ctr and asi, And Three rings can not take the glory off it!

Consider this suggestion.

Your just mad because you can't cheat your way through FCS now. Everyone knew that the DA had too much overarching utility, is the only weapon other then an alchemer that can break map designs, and could do so without needing open line of sight to the target.

And personally, I like the new effect. Its basically turning a texture into a particle effect

The nerf was nice.

Divine Avengers have been OP in my mind; I've seen way too many of them. I don't think you have much room to complain if you're talking about the FSC fix. It was a GLITCH.

Overused swords are nerfed eventually, unless they are used as intended.
QQ sum moar because you don't want to use other swords which deal larger total damage with a combo.

@Wuvvums: I can't find a good video of it, but essentially you can exploit the way the blades spawn on the DA's charge attack to hit objects that are close, but don't have clear line of sight to. When you do a charge attack, you'll always notice how the blades hang there for a sec before flying out. When created, they initially lack hit boxes, so you get them to spawn "inside" objects it would normally impact. Once they start the flying out, the game spawns the hitboxes and will instantly impact, dealing damage to anything it was in contact with... including ghost blocks.

There are 3 places its typically used in FSC. First is on the first level at the first party button (where you have to set the 6 statues on the triggers). But standing as far as you can to one corner of the nook where the siege wheels are sitting, you can aim at a very slight angle and get the tip of the outer blades to strike it far enough back to hit the vulnerable spot.

Second place is in the Charred Court (with the sprites). On the rocket puppy room, you could actually run it clockwise by facing a 70 degree angle with your back against the middle block of the barrier, then using the DA charge to trigger the ghost blocks .

The third, and arguably the most useful, is at the end of the depth before Vanaduke (think its Ashen Armory). The last battle is the room with the fire and spike pits, with the healing pad on the upper left corner, and you end up fighting 4 waves of zombies and trojans. When the spikes are down, you can use the DA charge to trigger the ghost block at the top of the barrier, and get free access to the room without setting off the party button. Most people use this as a chance to heal up and use the Totems brought from earlier in the level to block in the last 2 trojans as they spawn.

The concept worked on any destructible block or target that was 1 layer behind an indestructible block.

So you could pretty much duck behind an unbreakable block and fire out is what you're saying? Oh yeah, nerf the hell out of that. That's just a cheap bug anyways.

More like it can remove

More like it can remove impassible obstacles, if it can be triggered from the other side. They can't successfully fly beyond that 1 block, but it sticks out enough to hit anything directly connected to it.

DA was misused, OOO fixed it.

DA was misused, OOO fixed it. Simple as that. You can still go backwards in the rocket room with a long range shock weapon, or you can just keep killing the turret with a elemental gun.

i cant stop getting the feeling too many of you got owned by me in pvp with my 1900 dmg counts
DA is too good, i agree.
but if either u have stopped ppl from destroying the wheel or the last part in fsc, waited for the trojan to get those ghost blocks, or beaten a t3 fiend arena with DA. shut the [farglebargle] up. the sword was only significantly better after fsc and pvp.
i mentioned clearly in the conclusion of my post
nerf my sword i can tolerate, but nerf the look with a stealth is absolutely not fine
so [let's have a group hug] if u r jealous u chose the wrong weapon line, and now just happy to see people who loved DA suffer
All OOO needed to have down is remain the visual of the old charge atk, but make the end of the 2 side sword damageless. so it wont bug the ghost block.

There isn't supposed to be a "wrong" weapon line. If OOO made lots of 5* proto swords and a DA, that would be fail. I can understand not liking the graphics, but that's about it.
