On lockdown, if recon successfully put death mark on guardian, is guardian shield also affected?

I believe the death mark will
I believe the death mark will actually drain all the energy from the guardian's shield, so they have to wait for it to charge up again.
Death Mark has no effect on a guardian's shield.
