The lack of the ability to trade non-boss tokens is really annoying. There is a huge market for them and players, I believe, would gladly pay CE for them, myself included.

I know this has probably already been suggested but I couldn't find a thread.

oh this again no and A HUGE

oh this again no and A HUGE NO FOR THE REMOVAL OF AUTO BINDING TOKEN ITEMS

theres a reason why those two things are in place and it has to do with OOO wanting you to go through the clockworks and work for your tokens. as for the binding it would make them trivial items to trade if they weren't bound.

It was all just a suggestion, and I realize now that asking for the removal of the auto-binding was a stupid suggestion, and I shall remove it. Although as people pointed out, on the forum you linked, trading of tokens isn't stupid, boss tokens yes, but others no. I apologize for lumping them all together, I will also fix that.

Wait

You can't trade tokens but you can do a workaround and sell the items those tokens give you instead.

the point of tokens IMO is to

the point of tokens IMO is to reward players for actually spending time playing the game with 'free' stuff, if you want a pulsar you can dole out the cash (crowns, or CE to get crowns) to buy it right away, or you can work your way up to Tier 2, kick the Twins ass 7 or 8 times, and get your pulsar for 'free', same goes for using tokens to obtain rare materials that you need from Brinks, its a system made to benefit the player who dedicates their time to playing SK instead of just buying everything.

@Juances: Except some items

@Juances: Except some items bind on purchase and can't be unound (like the Dark Harvest Masks).
... but you can get materials for most tokens. Materials don't bind, so that will work for sure.

As I said to Madadder, and as it says in the original post, BOSS tokens are excluded and should be worked for! Do you even read what someone is suggesting, or just the title of the thread? But it doesn't matter because this is a "forum" a place to talk about ideas. Thank you for your impute and participation.

At the time of this posting,

At the time of this posting, the original post does NOT say boss tokens are excluded.

Making tokens tradeable (some or all) effectively turns them into another currency instead of a collectible. I think two currencies is probably enough; the fact that sparks are NOT tradeable is the main way I would justify their existence in the first place (otherwise Brinks' trinkets should probably just be purchased with crowns, or craftable like the weapon trinkets). I also think it would be particularly confusing to have some tokens be tradeable but others not.

In any event, if you're after materials, you can just sell the materials instead of the tokens used to get them. And if you're after trinkets, well, just like it's cheaper (but more effort) to craft your own 5-star weapon or armor than to buy one that someone else crafts and unbinds, it's cheaper (but more effort) to collect your own tokens for a 5-star trinket. Makes sense to me.

Making candy tradeable would perhaps be justifiable because it is a temporary special event thing. But the current system gives people a reason to actually play during the special event, rather than just cashing out some savings to buy the reward from someone else. I can see it both ways. But certainly they wouldn't be getting anyone to buy candy from vendors at 10k a piece if it were tradeable (not that anyone is necessarily buying it now).

So in your screen it doesn't say: "The lack of the ability to trade non-boss tokens is really annoying."? If it doesn't then there is something wrong because I edited it right after I posted my "@ Madadder" post.

As anyone can see that this thread isn't going to go anywhere, please no one post anymore so this thread will die.

I DISAGREE

I DISAGREE

Boss Tokens are rewards for knights who defeated the boss, u r not worthy of holding them unless u actually defeat the boss that drops them
if u want an item sold for tokens, then u gotta pay unbinding fee+profit for the seller, if u don't like paying much then go fight the boss

tokens system work fine as it is
