Monsters getting damaged by traps

Hullo

In Spiral Knights, I've noticed that monsters are completely immune to spikes, flaming pits and all.

It is quite offending, since our metalic knights suffer greatly from these traps, and fleshy mobs resist them. It'd be great if monsters got damaged by traps. It would add a greater utility to Shield Bumping, and it would make kiting efficient.

I'm not the only one thinking about this, and I hope that it get implemented in one way or another.

no because it would make

no because it would make things too easy all you would need to do is shield bump. AI isnt smart you know...

at the end of the 3rd level of FSC there is a bridge before the elevator with a stretch of spike pads over it and slag walkers pop ups on the far side of where the players are. it wouldnt be fair if the slag walkers would simply walk die from the spike damage.

And isn't it offending that knights are completely immune to bombs that they set up?
Also I've noticed that monsters do not regain health when walking over hearts... just saying.

at least trojans heart others

at least trojans heart others and spiike wheels in FSC too

i think the traps shystem is fine as it is
i believe mobs used to get damaged by traps and they made them immune to them, have read that somewhere but idk if its true or not

quicksilvers get 'damaged' by shock panels
oilers burn with the shadow fire of FSC
It seems traps are designed to help monsters, not hurting them.

How would we like getting blown up by our own bombs (and Ash of Agni runners!)? And to add to Juances...
-Lumbers already stun their friends!
-Rocket puppy explosives damage their friends. (Epic win with me vs. 2 Rocket pups blasting each other out)
-Mechaknights in large groups shock each other and eventually kill themselves off.
-Explosive jellies could blow each other up.
-You can get shocked via trap and pass it on to other monsters.
-You can get burned via trap and pass it on to other monsters.

Nah, I'm fine with traps (Which are called traps for a reason).

The monsters should at least get maybe half damage from traps. I do think its unfair how they stay in spike pits and you have to wait until there are no spikes to get at them.

How about...?

I don't believe they should be effected by spikes or anything, but they DO get effected by level hazard explosions so monsters do suffer some effects. I believe if they go over a fire trap or any elemental trap they should be set on fire though. Since it can set a Jelly on fire it should set EVERYTHING on fire. I mean it's fire... it's non-bias. So the traps like that should effect everyone. maybe the damage portion to the enemy should be half-lifed to keep the difficulty, and I don't believe 10-20 damage will really matter in the long run, but it would same to make it "fair". Just my thoughts.
