I would like to be able to downgrade equipment (Ones with attached accessory and UV while keeping both), so I could upgrade to a different path.

Eg, to get the new shadow gate equipment, for which I already have 5* non shadow of the same items, without remaking from scratch... :/

I would hope you could recover at least 50% of the materials used in the upgrade, including the CE/CR, otherwise not so much worth downgrading as compared to making a new item from scratch.

Unfortunately, this is extremely unlikely to happen. It benefits Three Rings much more for players to have to work their way through the upgrade lines from scratch, due to the large quantities of CE a full line requires to complete.

That's kind of the thing -

That's kind of the thing - for downgrades to be worthwhile from Three Rings' perspective, their expense would need to be comparable to re-crafting everything, rendering it useless to players.

I get why you'd want to do this, but it ain't gonna happen.
