Spawning

I think Spiral Knights needs to incorporate some more logical spawn (and "defeat") animations (or at LEAST provide some sorts of explanations). Anyone else think it strange how so many monsters just appear in puffs of purple smoke? The exceptions are nice of course with creatures like Gun Puppies rising out of trap doors, slimes squeezing through small cracks in the ground that are too small to see, Zombies and Wolvers popping out of burrows... What about when a Wolver burrows himself out solid metal though? I find that plain strange. Also, Wings and Greavers? New animations for those guys with status effects are kind of needed. What's with the Greaver unable to cover horizontal distance with a bit ice on the floor? And shouldn't they be able to fly over boxes and stuff? What do you knights think? A little work needed here? Or is it already being worked on?

It is one reason this game reminds me of zelda, the enemies explode in purple smoke when they die. I was thinking about this too. I think greavers should swoop down from above.
