I have the crystal bomb and I for some reason want to get the rock salt bomb. I know what people say but I think it could be good for some situations, but what do you think?

The Ionized Salt bomb is the Bomb of Regret, moreso than virtually any other bomb in the game. Not even the BAB, Deconstructor or Irontech Destroyer can compare to its uselessness.
I mean, a normal/piercing bomb with a damage bonus against slime?
Stick with the RSS. Its damage profile at least makes sense. If you really think there's situations where the ISB makes sense, please share them and I'm sure we'll all be happy to correct your terrible misunderstandings.

Also ISB has a much longer charge time than its companion bomb RSS. 100% of people who thought of trying this bomb have regretted it.

a friend found a ionized salt bomb and he can't even sell it haha (poor bugger got laughed at when he said he was selling it in front of the AH) that should say enough about how usefull it is
You're just asking to get killed charging that up
