Just throwing this one against the wall.
The shield would have zero health and defensive properties. Instead, when activated, the shield would cause the knight to instantly teleport in the direction of movement by a fixed distance, at which point the shield would break and you'd have to wait for it to recharge to use it again. (It could perhaps charge slightly faster than a normal shield)
Of course, it would have to be coded so that you wouldn't be able to teleport to places that you wouldn't otherwise be able to reach, like through closed gates or over walls or whatnot, and if you tried to blink over spikes or a status trap, it would act as if you had walked very quickly over it.
Thoughts?
So if one takes damage during "teleports" over hazards, would one take damage when "teleporting" past an enemy attack (Ex: Zombie breath attack, Retrode beam attack, etc.)?
