I'm sure most of us knew it could be done, but I still wanted to do it anyway, and so I have, here:
before and after pics.

No video, wasn't sure of the time it would take, turns out just the fight is an hour, and getting there alone takes about 3 hours, sure I maxed the revives, but at phase 5, I wasn't leaving.

Since I've never seen evidence of this done before I just figured I'd put this here, if I can do it again, I may try to record it, also I am wearing full mad bomber there, hence the character view.

Let the trolling and constructive criticism type stuff begin :D preferably the criticism though.

your money, your energy; not our problem - but it's really a lot and could have been better.Why did you go full mad bomber? scrap damage bonuses and get volcanic if the fire was what killed you the most.

The CE revives don't really matter much to me. Atleast you did it and that alone is impressive.

@Trying: Sadly no pics of the revive, I was more focused on actually killing that tub of lard blocking my way to the core

@Juances: Why no volcanic demo? Quite simply because I don't have it or the recipes to craft it, and mad bomber has no resistance, providing the added fun of an actual challenge. Most of my death didn't start until phase 4, and I would've done better if he hadn't kept dashing so much, with the guards breaking the freeze and tempest not stopping him all the time (or much at all, for that matter) it got rather difficult quite fast once I hit phase 5. Fire wasn't the main problem, but it was a large portion of it, I had the area mostly cleared for the fight, just that he wouldn't stop dashing at me, that's where my problems came from.

@Exileddread: thank you. now I just need another 4 hours to kill to try and do it again, luckily I only died once on the way there in the last room of 27, by the second trojan, strangely, not the 2 after it.

I didn't record it because I didn't know how long it would be, I was expecting the actual fight to border on 2-3 hours, which would've taken quite a lot of space if it really did, but now that I've done it, I can do it again, and that's what I care about now.

If you want to tape it next time, grab a party and go solo before Vana so you don't have to spend 3 hours to get there.

This sort of thing boggles my mind, because I have trouble with Vana (in a bad party) with all the right equips, never mind all haze bombs. Very interesting!

hm....

I want to do all the bosses like that now, the real problem there is recording and editing as well as uploading, anyone care to try and cover that? You shouldn't have to do anything but run around and watch, making it pretty much a free trip, I'll even give you heat where I can if you need it.

Also the reason I did it alone this time was also partly to see and learn to handle each floor on the way there, keep in mind, this was my first actual attempt at doing that.

I did a haze kill of Jelly King a long time ago. It took forever. As Vana crashes me if I spend more than 10 minutes, I would never be able to do a haze only on him :/

Your "before photo" shows you have a full set of bombs. So I'm still trying to understand what you were trying to prove with these screenshots.

I've recorded kills on Twins and Royal Jelly with a proto sword and proto gun, but WHY a Haze Bomb? Style points?

Erm, well killing Twins with JUST a haze bomb would be nuts.

I love the hazing

My screenshots are mainly there to prevent some claims that it couldn't have been legitimate somehow (like "pictures or it didn't happen"), though not being able to see them from my steam page probably doesn't help that, and as for why, I've always loved the Haze Bombs, watching enemies die from nothing more than a status became quite fun for me. The twins are more or less next on my list of targets, it wouldn't be too hard, just requires a good amount of patience to actually do.

@Halifix: I tried to do Royal Jelly solo like that yesterday, it was a bit sloppy, but I didn't die, and it took all of just under 3 minutes to complete, and that one I did record, just a matter of trying to upload it.

Three slots.

I recommend just skipping the first slot and having VV, VT, and shiver. Ash of agni does nothing, unless it's there for the slimes.
Three slots equals less switching around.

I don't think Roarmulus Twins or Snarbolax are killable with vaporizer bombs alone, since they have invincibility periods which make bombs extremely impractical.

If I'd thought necroing my own thread would've got more responses I might have tried it, I'll just add a few points then considering these recent posts....

@rangerwill: After all this time I've learned to NEVER underestimate the power of fire, both slimes and trojans really hate it, and it's the best DPS weapon for them down there.

@Metagenic & Dukeplatypus: Every normal boss at least is killable with just those bombs, I have full recorded no death runs of everything but Vana so far, just haven't uploaded them yet :P Snarb is still about 10 minutes even with nothing but the Ash for damage, and the twins border on about 30 or so, probably could be much faster, but I kept messing up every so often taking more time.
