Damage bonus against each of the six monster types is computed separately. So you'll have:
Slimes: Maximum! (trinket, shield, UV)
Gremlins: Very High (trinket, shield)
Beasts: Very High (trinket, shield)
Fiends: Very High (trinket, shield)
Undead: Maximum! (trinket, shield, CIV)
Constructs: Very High (trinket, shield)
Damage Increase, and multiple sources of Damage Increase...
ahh, thank you! I always thought that the seperate damage types still equated to the 6p/max buff, but that's really reassuring to know.
I'll get crafting right away!
You know A leviathan with so many damage buffs may get even more damage against the slimes and undead without the UVs right?
Since Levi has more base damage, the increase is more noticeable.
I'm not sure if the V.high-maximun jump is big enough
i would stick with the levi (and i did hehe) i just stopped with the Cold Iron Carver (had both that and Ascended Calibur)
for WHEN you encounter "undead" it's not realy worth the penalty vs others so just stick with the VS slime only (i still slap myself in the face when i open my inventory and see the CiC sitting there)
also what Bopp said is treu but keep in mind that the bonus aplies to the CIV damage output NOT the levi's (kinda duh haha) so you would have less damage vs everything but slime/undead, somewhat the same normal damage vs slime and more damage vs undead compared to the levi. Alltough this is all up to you (this is just me saying i stopped before is wasted an other 800CE on a weapon i would never ever use) only good thing about this heap of scrap metal is it's charge has far less knockback.
Any damage buffs add up on top of each other up to "maximum".
