Is Spiral Knights supposed to take 20 minutes to load?

Probably your computer. I usually load in 15 seconds (most of it spent waiting for map data from the server).
Load what? Starting up the client? Long loading after you click on your character?
No one can help you unless you specify your issue.
Anyway, I've never waited 20 minutes in SK for something to load.
