Ok, so I've been away for some time, and would like to clarify what works atm...
Preamble:
- Ive only ever played SK via steam
- My original forum username is a legacy username "borgeman"
With the new forum/website update I can logon with my steam details - great. However, I cant logon to the wiki to edit pages with the steam logon (a known problem to be resolved as Ive read).
Now, I can still logon with my old username and edit the wiki - great. However, in the forums, I am required to set an identity knight. But I cant do this, as my forum name was never connected to my SK IGN because I have never used the web client, only steam.
This means that I have to use 2 different accounts to post on forum and edit wiki, which means a lot of logging off and logging on.
Is there no current solution to this atm?
Currently, no. But you could run different browsers at the same time. You can also try checking out Firefox portable... with some tweking you can have it run as a 2nd instance of FF without any cross browser communication or cache sharing.
