It's impossible for a costume shield cause there are only costumes for armor and helm because it is wearable and can go over the original armor/helm
A shield cannot be worn over another shield since it's impossible xD

The breaker shields look
The breaker shields look totally badass but bringing one in T3 is suicide. :[
Three Rings should really do this since it means people would throw energy into cool looking shields and people throwing energy into things are in their interest.

I'd love shield costumes! It wouldn't matter at all in PvP because shields are already replaced and costumes are disabled. In PvE, there are only extremely specific situations in which not knowing a teammate's actual shield would be a problem, like assuming someone will be able to shield X attacks when you do something stupid like push a mob into them or turn a Trojan towards them for your own goals.
The only situation I could see this being extremely problematic is if people suddenly start a Swiftstrike Buckler explosion and everyone's walking in with glittery paper to defend themselves with.
But yes. I want that dragon shield.
