Me, I play Magic the Gathering on Friday Nights. I prefer this game MUCH more then other card games since the DCI has clear rules and punishments for breaking those rules. Up to and including Lifetime player ban.

Friday Night Magic is a casual gathering. No stress or competitive nature here. Don't know how to play, ask. Experienced players come to these events as well as inexperienced players (myself) as well. Make sure the Friday Night Magic even you go to, is DCI sanctioned. You will have a DCI judge and you will need to get a DCI card (that's free). Then you can have fun and learn how to play.

Although, my Friday Night Magic is a little more serious than most others...but we still have fun with EDH(Ok, haters, I know it's called commander now, so you don't have to correct me on it....), lightheartedness, and bs among ourselves.

Glad to hear I am not alone here. I am still kinda new to the game. I understand a lot of mechanics from that OTHER card game that has no sense of balance. I swear that game...
