In spiral knights combat can get really frantic and so we don't have the time to type into the chat for a signal to pull a leaver or something and you just have to hope they know to do that.

I think that we should have voice chat to solve that, it really is better when fighting and could make use of the microphone on your headphones that never gets used.

There would be some problems like if someone started spamming or saying BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! ... we would have a mute voice chat from this person button on their knight icon and a mute all voice chat button somewhere.

Maybe also the voice gets quieter the further away from them you are?

Note: this is only in the clockworks NOT in haven. Voice chat in haven!

SK already has voice chat,

SK already has voice chat, but you have to be on Steam to use it.

do you have to pair your spiral knights account with steam to chat or do you u just have to download it off of steam to chat?

Because the better half of things SK are not available for the general public who don't use steam.

Alternatively though, use 3rd party software like Ventrilo or TeamSpeak.

To be honest, I'd never use voice chat with randoms...I was assuming he was talking about voice chat with like guild mates or something.

I actually beat Spec Ops/Halo 4 Campaign on Legendary just 2 days ago (Got it for Christmas).

I'm not egotistical enough to watch 10 hours of stuff just to see if someone who happens to share my name is cool though.
