im having a wierd problem in which i see ''error'' written on npcs, on walls, on thwack hammers, on armor and so on, and the game isnt responding sometimes either. HELP!

Your using windows,
Your using windows, right?
Start, Computer, Local disk (C:), then follow the folders.
The game resources are corrupted. You can either reinstall the game, or just delete the /rsrc/ folder and it'll repair it when you start up.
