I've been ragecrafting autoguns for a while now and I don't know whether to keep it or not. It would help with the trojans in FSC I guess, and that would be it's primary function (as well as Vana, of course) but should I hold out for something better?

It's better than

It's better than nothing, specially if you don't use damage trinkets.
But CTR is better if you want to blitz trojans and Vana-

Yeah, that's kind of my

Yeah, that's kind of my reaction :/ i personally would rather have ASI than CTR? but i usually choose mobility over power in this game. i would be fine with either, though. just wanted to see if others shared the same opinion.

well, if u have a vh ctr

well, if u have a vh ctr autogun, I'll trade my vh ctr plague needle (party gun) for it to save u the hassle of lvling and collecting recipe :D

mobility with autogun is hard. if u want mobility, go with another piercing gun

Hmm

Yeah, just hold out for CTR. Ragecraft using mist so you don't waste precious CE (best to use an alt farm.) Medium damage is about +15%, might not even reduce the number of charge attacks needed to defeat a Trojan.

The charge attack on the autogun lines is vastly superior to the normal shot so you are going to be charging almost every time, especially for Trojans and Vanaduke. ASI, on the other hand, is going to let you shield and move a fraction of a second sooner after a charge attack but you are still going to be planted in spot for a long time.
