If any of you have seen multiple proto noobs with "Watermelon" in their names going around doing something dumb, it's probably me.
I hear a lot of "how the hell did you do that". Simple. Multiple clients. No, I'm not using multiple computers.

Here is a screenshot of my monitor when I bring out my alts:

The 4 small windows (1024x600) are my alts, and the bigger one which you can see popping out the bottom (although it looks smaller, because an MSN window is covering part of it) is my main window (1680x1050). I was doing Firestorm Citadel at the time, explains the redness.

Behind all those windows is my browser, Mozilla Firefox, and one of the tabs open is on the Spiral Knights page of Kongregate so I can connect via Kongregate.

There, you've seen it all. :3

In a few MMOs I've played before, multi-clienting is against the TOS. I'm not sure about SK though, since the built-in energy system kind of negates the concept of a 'free' ride.

Still, impressive system to have 5 windows and play FSC. It's Lagstrom Cathedral for me, I can't imagine doing that.

from the support portal

"I made a credit/debit card payment but I haven't received the Energy yet?
[...]
If you want the Energy on a different account, then you can start two game clients and log into both accounts to trade with yourself. Please don't use another player to make the trade, as you risk them running off with the Energy."

You can use that as an excuse, but having 5.....

I think

That multicienting isn't against the ToS. OOO doesn't mind it at all, last I heard anyway.

It was on a thread, and a GM said it. My memory fails ><
