I'm looking to buy one of these. How much should I expect to pay?

You would expect to pay about 6,000 to 7,000 CE for a Shadowtech CTR VH.

Thanks. I saw one up for offer recently but it had already sold, for 17k CE. I dunno if it's a rarity thing or what.

Its 'rare' because not many people craft 2* Shadowtech Alchemers. Swordsmen will hardly use a Shadow Gun for his gun-slot, since they usually use Blitz Needle/Polaris/Argent Peacemaker. Much less Bombers.

The only gun line that can command such a high price is the autogun line. An Autogun CTR VH can fetch 18,000 to 20,000 CE.

17,000 CE is an excessive amount to pay for a CTR VH for any alchemer line, and in your case, a 2* Shadowtech Alchemer, which does not even have 4,000 CE unbind cost. It was definitely an uninformed purchase.

A really reasonable price for a Umbra Driver CTR VH is 13,000 to 14,000 CE, if you're looking to buy it. I'm speaking from the POV of a buyer.

Hope this helped you.

I agree with Ivorise. I

I agree with Ivorise. I suggest you try the gun 1st before buying VH CTR. It's just a matter of time before you stop using it.
I have this gun with CTR but rarely use it now. It's unlike Autogun line VH CTR where you can always use it at FSC/UFSC.
No doubt some people will use because it's a matter of preference. I think I'd pay up to 8K CE for Alchemer of any line VH CTR (2*/3*). 17K CE is too much...I rather get something else with 17K CE.
