I think there are few requirements to being a knight except having a monarch or other form of sovereignty bestow that title upon you. Traveling around in a ship means we might be on a crusade or have a king on our home planet. Basically knights exist to serve a higher authority, and are known to usually do that on horseback.
So since our king is somewhere else while we're stranded, we need mounts to be truly be knights. I want to ride an Alpha Wolver. Where is my Alpha Wolver mount?
