I have been playing this for a while and i love it ,im addicted!!.But i Have been wondering do you have to download this game every time you play (ive been playing for about a month and im getting a bit fed up of loading the game cuz it takes hours
and also if i download the launcher will this help to reduce the number of times i have to download this game

You can create a desktop shortcut for the game, and launch the game that way, with no need to download again.

at the bottom of the "play"

at the bottom of the "play" page there is an option to download the game. Follow those instructions.

If you downloaded the game

If you downloaded the game once the launcher does not make you download it again unless there's been a patch.
