Make the pickups (of people who went up) ride the elevator

There is plenty of people that just go up at the elevator and waste consumables this way, why not make it so that if someone leaves, all his pickups will spawn at the arsenal station/level start next floor? Pickups are shared, not everyone talks in the same language, not always does everyone remember to tell that (s)he is going up and that would solve this massive problem.

yes! a thousand times yes!

yes! a thousand times yes!

I cant tell you the number of times someone chickens out right before vana after the team and I have been carrying their buts through the dungeon. We hit the elevator with a solitary Pill and maybe a 10 vita each, and right before we go down, he explodes into a pile of 3 pills, 3 remedies and a 15 vita.

Better yet, make an optional prompt that shows when you reach an elevator like the ones at subtowns that only allows you to go up (with a prompt asking if you're sure, to prevent rageful accidents) dropping your things and allowing invites if you're at a boss.

Or a way to escape the elevator once entered. Or allow movement in it.

Nothing like going down to have your party drop 3 pills that they jumped in front of you to get!

I think instead, if someone

I think instead, if someone goes up, it can give you an option of NOT going down yet. THat way, if someone leaves, you can grab their stuff and ALSO chose if you still want to go down.

I don't agree with them following you down because what if you're all maxed on pill? Then essentially for boss fights, you could end up facing vanaduke alone with 12 health pills, remedies and stuff which is a little to unbalanced

That's why I said allow

That's why I said allow movement in the elevator after it locks. Even if you choose to go down, after everyone has made their desicion, the people going up go up, and an additional 5 seconds is given for the players going down to grab the stuff.

+1 but with a fear...

I fear glitchers would find a way to mass-duplicate items.
It seems rather dangerous to allow players to spawn items thru their actions, even if indirectly.
Stockpile infinite duplicates of Mecha Knights at the beginning of map and run through with 100 Mecha Knights.

You don't spawn the items,

You don't spawn the items, your knight leaves, and therefore all the knight's slots are emptied, and the number of items you had in your slots gets dropped. Where's the duplication?

If I give you a shield, I'm not spawning the shield inside your inventory am I?

@ Hexzyle

In effect, the items are being spawned indirectly because they are coming from a player who never steps foot in the new instance.

All I'm saying it Three Rings needs to do EXTENSIVE playtesting on something like this otherwise cheaters will find a way to abuse it. They always do.

The looping exploit has

The looping exploit has already been corrected. Capsules aren't transferred between instances. There shouldn't be a problem. Plus you can only carry 3 of a single type of capsule so the max would be 12. However that would be pretty epic.

What about mecha kits, or

What about mecha kits, or other randoms? How many times did we have to abandon the family of sprites?
