Reason for no stun on second hit: Troika

Here is the most viable reason I found as to why there is no stun on the troika's second hit:
Today, I was doing a jelly king run. I felt like charging my troika, so I did. I went close to a lumber, and charged-shotted it. However, the lumber was halfway through it's swing animation. As the troika hit, it stunned the lumber. As we all know, stun messes up everything. Stunning an enemy during an attack animation will cause the attack to perform immediately. Both the lumber and I ended up stunned and with less health than before our encounter.

Imagine in FSC: You cornered a zombie, you have a half pip of health, and you second swing the zombie during it's attack animation. You are dead, zombie is laughing.

Another reason could be OPness in lockdown. Stun stands as the most effective status ATM only because more people have freeze/stun resistance.

The stun being bad isn't

The stun being bad isn't really on zombies. And zombies are laughable now anyway.

Also the stun on second hit isn't guaranteed so it is not OP in lockdown at all.

Anyways, the bad stun is on lumbers, trojans, and Vanaduke. Those with smash type attack. You usually never notice the bad stun on other mobs so it is not a big deal - it is actually helpful on those.

And finally I do not think this is the reason they didn't add stun on Troika second swing.

I mean look at Triglav, it freezes on second swing which CAN be bad, yet they still made it freeze on second swing.

I thought they took off

I thought they took off freeze on second swing? But besides that, any monster mid-attack that gets stunned will immediately finish it's attack. I tested this on the RJP jellies too. So if the zombie got stunned during it's incredibly slow attack, and you half half a pop of health, you're dead.

That is not a legitimate

That is not a legitimate reason for having no stun on troika line's second hit, thats a glitch.

Stun would push enemies back, and should be fixed, so it'd still work.

I second Purgion observation

I second Purgion observation : a few days ago, some stunned an attacking zombie and I clearly noticed the instant attack bug (because I got hit and then proceed to rant that he shouldn't use stun).

oh I get it now...

since stun is bugged instead of fixing it they just took it out of the second strike of the troikaline/sudaruska spesifically... nice.

They should replace

They should replace freeze/stun with sleep.

Benefits? No bugs. No worries about retaliation.
Drawbacks? None. Troika users don't use it for DPS anyways.
Overpowered? Nope, since the chance of stunning/freezing is low.

Doesnae make much sense,

Doesnae make much sense, bein' slammed with a big fat sword and..falling asleep. Guess could fly it off as being KOd?

Benefits? Would be good for large groups, on the charge, gettin' to lock down a lot at once (in the same way as Freeze) but without them hittin' you back from the spot.
OP? quite the contrary, but that comes down to:

Drawbacks? Troika users may not have the highest dps, but that doesn't mean they want mobs actively healed after they hit them.
Also, the KB gap is pretty large, having them stuck in place is worse than having them (slowly) walk back towards you to prep for your next hit; which is in my opinion why Freeze is worse than Stun anyways.

Ok, here's the thing...

Stun causes the animation itself to be slowed... but the attack hitbox is not, that's why when you swing a Spur for example, the lunge is not slowed, the time between attacks is... this leads to hard to predict attacks and a minor glitch that only happens when they are stunned in the middle of releasing they're hitbox...

Also... no sleep due to PvP... sleeping would be op in many ways...
