I updated to the Windows 8 Dev preview, and now I can no longer run Spiral knights saying that my computer is not up to date or compatible. I was wondering if spiral knights will become compatible with Windows 8 dev soon.

That question probably can't be answered by anyone here. Spiral Knights runs on Java, so if there's any incompatibility between Java and the Dev preview of Windows 8 there will be a problem with SK too. Or maybe you're running a 64-bit preview with only 64 bit Java updating while the game is trying to default to 32-bit Java.
This really isn't the best place to be asking with problems revolving around Windows 8. :/
