Spiral Knights will now not run, error message appears

For the recent update of spiral knights i had to open spiral knights with the standard loading patch notes window, but for this update it didn't work unlike all the other times. This time it said something like 'after trying to update five times spiral knight cannot open, try uninstalling and re-installing to open' after i successfully uninstalled and re installed Spiral knights, after the small spiral knights window loads (time goes to 0:00) it comes up with an error message for java, java virtual machine launcher comes up with 'could not create the java virtual machine' im not the best computer wizz but i have tried several times to reboot java, upload java 1.5 and re-install spiral knights as well but every time i press play on steam it comes up with that error message. Please help, spiral knights has been working for me for the past months.

i'm currently on a Dell studio 17 laptop with 64 bit windows 7, with installed memory (RAM) 4.00GB and i have over 200GB space on my computer.

Try Java 6 Update 30. Java 1.5 is as old as... a really old thing.

still doesn't work

thanks for your response, but even the newest version of java (6 update 31) doesn't work it just keeps coming up with that message :/

it's working now had to uninstall and reinstall steam xD

hi guys please help when i click on my friends ,auction house ,haven changing it crashes spiral knights
with this weird java message.

Wh... what?

If ye mean if yer characters will be wiped, no of course!

Uninstalling Spiral Knights will just remove files from yer computer, any information at online won't be removed.
