Dear administrators
During my searches of the forum, I have been unable to come across any tread concerning the following question:
Do the 3d models made by fans of Spiral Knights have any chance to be featured in the game?
Please reply. And if such a tread actually exists, I ask of you to direct me to it please.

Why not OOO make a program in which you can design your own objects?
Objects could easily be design in a 3d editor. The actual coding for the objects needs to be handled by Three Rings.
This is addressed in Terms of Service/ Restrictions/13. No scripting is allowed.

Sorry, I am new to the abbreviations here. Now I know what OOO is.
Even if they made such a program, the majority of the game has a specific art style that it follows.
That involves the designs of the items and their textures.
So if they have such a system working, they're need the graphical artists to look at the submitted items and determine whether or not it'll fit in the game.
I haven't seen a completely new and original model in ages. (maybe drones and some accesories only?)
Everything in the game is a retexture of something else.
Please do submit whatever you make to developers ASAP :P
