In the interest of trying to get more players on Tier 1 Lockdown, I propose:
Entry fee: 100 crowns
Winners: 1 Krogmo coin
Losers: 0 Krogmo coins
Krogmo bribing (for Tier 1)
15 energy to bribe
(reduced chance for masks, better coin results)
MVP for each team gets +1 Krogmo coin
(most Captures + Defense; In a tie there can be more than one MVP... I would not agree with making Damage a tie-breaker)
Krogmo Coin boosters would be unaffected (work the same as always). Thus you could still get coins on a loss with it.

I do realize the threat of getting zero Krogmo coins might seem off-putting, which is why I added the MVP idea...
which I guess could be applied to all Tiers. The rest of the idea is meant for Tier 1 only.
The incentive to keep playing on a losing team is to try for the MVP status. I think most new players who enter Tier 1 care more about the lost crowns than any Krogmo coins, which is why I think the halved cost would be worth the loss of guaranteed coins.
I am hoping the nifty UV items from the Missions will encourage some folks to try out T1. In the meantime, here's an idea to make LD more interesting- what if each class had different capture/defend/neutralize rates? I know the adage is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but one could argue that while not broken, the classes could still use tweaking for more interesting interplay.
Recon: increased neutralize speed, decreased recapture speed
Striker: increased capture speed, decreased neutralize speed
Guardian: increased recapture speed, decreased capture speed
(recapture is when a point is still controlled by a team but not maxed out)
