OK, so here's an idea for a costume:
Bechamel's Helm and Armor with the hair-like purple (now red) to match your personal color. Personally, I couldn't care less for the armor, I just want the helm, but meh, might as well throw in the armor too for a matching set.

Don't think we could use the armour though. NPCs have their own colour armour (it's pretty much just Mighty Cobalt armour anyway) to seperate them from PCs.

You've got a point, they probably want to keep the NPCs looking unique.
However, they did a reskin of the Leviathan to look like Bechamel's scissors...Perhaps the azure guardian helmet and armour could be similarly reskinned to look like Feron and Barrus's armour.
I would love a set of duds like Barrus!

I was always under the impression that NPC armors were failed armor set ideas that didn't quite make it into player implementation but were considered presentable enough to be released for public viewing anyways, sort of as an appearance preview so that OOO could get an idea of what NPC armor sets should be expanded on.
If this is true and everyone thinks Bechamel has awesome armor, I think that enough shouting and yelling would make OOO release some modified versions of unique NPC armor.
And I really don't have any complaints with that. Sounds pretty good.
