I recently made a purchase in SK, and additional accounts made on the computer I'm using still draw from the same pool of energy. I initially thought it was a Steam related problem, so logged off and exited Steam and made a new account through the website and played the game from there, but the mist tank of that account was still drained, as it was in the account I had made a purchase in. I though I might just need to wait a bit, so several hours later I tried again, brand new account, Steam off, same results. Now I get a message that I am no longer able to create free accounts on this computer. Great.
I would like to know what I can do to create another account that does not share mist with my first. Other than using another computer, or something tricky with virtual machines, of course. I have a feeling that second one wouldn't even work. Nothing has been done with these other accounts, so I would have no problems deleting them, if need be (just not the account that the purchase was made in, I'm rather fond of that one).

Just some CE, though the wiki
Just some CE, though the wiki said any purchase will do it. Yes I used real money, it wasn't a gift. Like I said, I went through Steam, but everyone I've talked to has said they've done this with no problems.

I think I may have nailed
I think I may have nailed down the problem. When you start the Crash Site level, does it consume mist? Because the first time I checked, my main had 90~95 mist, and the alt account had about the same. I looked again today, and my main had 73 and the alt had 90, despite not having played for a few days. I hope this is solved, because my little brother keeps bugging me to play, and I don't want him stealing my mist or playing on my main.
What did you purchase?
Just in case.
But the limit is set to 3 accounts, dunno why you got a warning.
