Snarby, with 0 to 2 star equipment,is nearly impossible to solo as a pure bomber.Snarby needs to be stunned by hitting the beast bell while he is near it to be able to damage him.The problem is the delay that bombs have.A bomb must be charged, placed, then it has a fuse you must wait for to have it do damage. So, as a pure bomber, you have 2 options, either to hold the bomb over your head and try to dodge Snarby,or shield, standing next to the bell, and when he gets near, charge the bomb, place it, hope he is next to the bell when it explodes, charge it again, place it next to him, hope he will still be stunned, and for both, rinse and repeat. Both of these methods are extremely time consuming.Method 1 will get you killed extremely quickly, while method 2 is safer, but relies entirely on luck.To remedy this, Snarb's speed should rely on the number of players in the party, but please post if you know of something that would make this change unnecessary.

You never go Pure Bomber/Gunner in 0-2* Equipment. Always keep a Sword handy.

Snarby already is very easy,

Snarby already is very easy, thats what makes this change unnecessary. And you know disadvantages of bombs before you choose them.

There's no such thing as

There's no such thing as "pure bomber" in game design.
Player may use such off-game terminology to name his playstyle but he shouldn't expect everything in this game will be doable with any weapon. Actually it's quite the opposite - weapon selection for each level is key feature of SK.

BTW, I suppose also Roarmulus Twins are hard to beat if you happen to have only bombs equip.

I get it, but no.

Just for kicks, I went with a buddy to try and do Snarby using only bombs. We derped hard, and we're both 5*, so it's not just you... but that's OK. All enemies, bosses included, are meant to have certain (usually broad) styles of attack be effective against them, and certain other (usually slightly less broad) weapons be ineffective against them.

That said, pure bombing may be amazing in Tier 3 gear, but it's lackluster in Tier 2 and terrible in Tier 1. As much as I hate to tell an aspiring non-swordie this, you really ought to use a sword, at least until you're fully into tier 2, when other weapons start becoming good.

Never, I mean, never GO IN SNARBOLAX/RT WITH FULL BOMB LOADOUT!

I keep a sword. I tried with Rss. Failed so hard........

Snarby is hard with bombs and easy with swords in the same way Vanaduke is hard with swords, but a shivermist can save your life.

Simple as that.

He's simple with guns. I killed him in proto gear and a stun gun solo when I first fought him. Wasn't the quickest battle, but it teaches you how to kite.

Just take a proto sword if you have no others. That's how I amuse myself when I'm bored, full proto vs snarby with no trinkets or vitapods.
