It would be interesting if a train randomly showed up in Moorcraft for an hour to take you to an alternate Tier map with a special Strata 4 boss. Strata 3 could be the same as the gate you're in, but Strata 4 could be replaced with the boss Strata. You could make the train show up twice a day and have to ask the Desk Clerk Kat what times it will be there "Mew, the train will be here in X hours and X minutes. Mew!". If you made it show up twice a day it would be available to people in both the East and Western hemispheres.

Random hour because it would be something akin to a world boss that you can only do at certain times of the day, and mass transportation is well known for delays.

I'll let OOO or another poster think up a boss for the area, a Kat might be appropriate, but honestly I'm not good at thinking up bosses and mechanics for them.

I like it, perfect

I like it, perfect opportunity for the arrival of the Grimalking, summoned by Konjuring Kat himself! (this idea is supported by Nick as well, he posted it the topic the idea originated from)

Yeah, something like a ghost

Yeah, something like a ghost train, appearing out of nowhere. When you reach mooncraft manor on that certain time you would get notification on screen maybe that Desk Clerk saying "the train has arrived" and of course at station there will be a big "!" mark that in description will say there is danger ahead to not make newbies walk in there and then complain of stuff being too hard.

what dark ritual?

thats how you could get back or get there the konjuring kat or when you get back from the levels the train takes you back and the konjuring kats dark ritual is complete and he summons the boss which you then fight in moorcraft manor.

Grimalking!

I approve of this idea. It would be the perfect way to get to a true Undead boss! (Grimalking? :3) But 2 times every day might not be enough... maybe every 2 hours or something?

Yeah!

This completely fits the idea of 'the ever changing clockworks'
The only problem is I have a 'battle of the subtowns' idea stuck in my head now, it's all I managed to get out of Spyash's comment.

Edit: Looks like there's no love for the fiends. Fiends for Emberlight?

Nah, konjuring kat would be the one to summon the train instantly, for a cost.

Having the train apear for free on specific times sound cool, but causes troubles for some people that cant play all day.

Thats why it could rorate, it

Thats why it could rorate, it would appear for example every 22 hours. This way becouse of those 2 hours missing from full day, the times at which train would arrive would 'rotate' through all timezones, finally allowing every player to find his hour.

@JuancesOOO would very

@Juances
OOO would very likely make that cost be as high as a shadow key's. People are sick of paying for extra content, either with real or virtual money (Crimson Hammer and Shadow Lairs).

I'd rather rotate it, like Asukalanforum suggested, but in every 11 hours instead. Why, you ask?
See it like this:
A person can only play from 18:00 to 21:00; if the train would only appear every 22 hours, that person would have it available for 2 days (At 20 o'clock in the first day, and at 18 o'clock on the next) and would have to wait for eleven days for another 2 days to try it.
With 11 hours, after that second day of fun, he'd have to wait for 5 days to have another single chance (At 19:00), and for 6 days again, for another couple of days(At 20 and 18, respectively).
In short, 22 hours is too much, 11 is a bit more fair.

Yeah anything that is not 12

Yeah anything that is not 12 hours or 24 hours will work for it.

Seems like a good idea.

I probably cannot think anything up, but this is a good idea.
