I could run this game before, and today I wanted to download it again but it says unable to initialize graphical display.

Processor: Intel Core i3 2.27 GHz
RAM: 4gb
OS: Windows 7
Graphics card: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 1696 MB

Please help.

I've never experienced this problem myself, but I've read it's usually fixed by updating your graphics card drivers.

Note: Your Intel Graphics Media Accelerator isn't your graphics card, it's a graphics engine built into your card.

And when it is "right", it doesn't always have the right drivers. Windows Update broke my touchpad once. (>_>)

If you post the name of your graphics card, I can just link you to the proper driver.

Here is a list of all the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator cards/chips. All of them are built into your CPU chip and all of them are labelled "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator". If you have a driver for an "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator", chances are you have a generic driver that works with all of them and not the proper driver that works with your card/chip.
