When i use Forums button, or i want to go directly to first page of forum, i get the screen saying forum is under maintenance

this is the link used in every "go to forum" button
http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/forum

But when i type

http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/forum/

It works.

Also i get screen with "maintenance" when i want to mark all posts as read.

Ongoing issue for me

I'm getting similar issues, and they keep changing. Prepare for a long story.

3/6: Forums go down for maintenance. I keep getting maintenance image on redirect to forums.spiralknights.com. No links, bookmarks, or direct typing of urls will get me anywhere else. I clear cache, delete cookies, and try 3 different browsers: no dice. Try my husband's computer. His has access.

3/7: Try accessing forums after booting to different OS on my machine. Still getting maintenance redirect. Internet goes down for 9 hours. When it comes back up, I restore my computer to 3/4: I can now visit forums.spiralknights.com/en/forum/10 (the general menu), but not the upper menu. Treasure Vault and Gremlin Chatter redirect, but I can visit the other boards, and can visit the most recently posted in thread from TC or GC and navigate within them.

3/8: Partway through the day, my general menu access disappears, but returns later in the day. I discover I can follow some links to other threads from within TV threads I have already opened. Ironically enough, the threads I cannot visit are the ones I created. Try to open forums on my NOOK: default browser gets maintenance message, but Puffin browser has full access.

3/9: I can actually access the upper menus. TV and GC (and any thread I'm trying to visit via bookmark or directly typing within) now redirect there.

I've spoken to some friends who have had problems connecting but haven't gotten details from them, and have been communicating with support off and on about the issue.

browser based?

I have the same problem: whenever i try to reach any forum page, i get the maintenance page (starting approximately 2 days ago, I believe). Doesn't seem to matter what route I use to try and reach it. I have no problems accessing the main page and wiki though.

However, when I attempt the same thing using Chrome (I normally use Firefox), I have no problems.

@Juances: Yes, I have tried clearing Cache, Cookies (yes, flash too) and History (all three completely) -- it had no effect.

Browser rundown (for me, anyway)

On my desktop, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE, and Maxthon are all unable to access things properly. My husband's laptop works just fine whatever browser I use. My NOOK color had no access on the default browser, but could view the forums in the Puffin browser. Rooted the NOOK to be an android tablet; the default browser and Firefox are both a no-go, but I have full access on Opera Mini.

Out of all of these browsers, the only ones I had ever visited the forums with on my machine were Firefox on the desktop, Firefox on my husband's laptop, and both browsers on the pre-root NOOK. Chrome, Opera, Maxthon, and the post-root NOOK browsers were all downloaded after the problem had already started (I actually rooted my NOOK just to get to the Treasure Vault properly. XD)

I have a similar issue. No matter what browser I use (or even any computer within the household I use), I get the maintenance page whenever I try to view the forums. I tried a DNS flush, cleared cache, messed with DNS settings, nothing fixed it. I ended up having to use a proxy to be able to view the forums again.

http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/forum/ just shows a 404 error on my end. :(

I'm having the same problem.

I'm having the same problem. I can duplicate it with different browsers and different computers on my home lan. At work (where I'm posting from) it works just fine.

This isn't going to be fixed anytime soon is it? I'm still unable to visit the forums without the use of proxies. :(

Edit: Oh, erm.. I guess it was fixed just recently. I can view it normally now. Definitely couldn't yesterday or so.. Sorry for the necro. x_x
