I have the 4* of almost every bomb except grav bomb and toxic vapor and blast line.
I have heavy demo suit and helm.
Originally, I was planning on going the (as the wiki puts it) Jack of All Trades Mk I suit with a Volc demo helm and Mad bomber suit.
With the new Volc demo suit buff....
I have to reconsider.
I am an avid demo, been one almost all my time in SK until recently when I started investments in an anti-fiend set.
What would the recommendation be? Full volc or Mixed set?
I'm prone to extreme lag spikes and sometimes d/c'ing and forcing my comp to r/c me to the game.
So Mad bomber, while an excellent set, is very VERY dangerous for my latency issues. Usually I'm 3 bar, but prone to D/c.
Hybrid give you positive fire resist.
Well, you could try to get shock UV on your gear to negate the negative shock resist. Poison and Freeze aren't too much of a big deal unless you are frozen with a broken shield which happens a lot with ice mechas and lumbers.
The only way you can get DB max (which is basically necessary for a damage bomber) is using two mad bombers and 1 elite boom, or volcano/mad with 2 damage bonus trinkets.
If you won't be killing anything, then volcanic is fine.
Mad Bomber isn't recommended unless you have pretty awesome UV's on your suit/helm
Bombastic is just bad. don't even bother.
With the hybrid, you are left with a bit of fire resist, and negative to pretty much everything else. I'd roll at least a med UV on the mad bomber item you choose (now that volcanic suit is ctr med).
NOTE: using two sets of volcanic demo is the same as using 2 CTR trinkets. so you don't need to drop the money on volcanic if you don't have to.
I don't have the option of trinky slots in my current position.
At level 10, all bombs get CTR med, combined with any combination of volcanic or mad demo gear=MAX CTR.
Hybrid still works. Full mad still gives you the best armour bonuses, allowing you to get a bomb damage and another trink of your choice. Full volc is, compared to full mad, not for dps styled bombers.
