At this moment, I have a Bristling Buckler, a Defender, an Iron Buckler, and a Plate Shield. If there is anymore information I need to provide, please point it out in a reply.
What are some good options for shields?

Well, you do not have any shields that resist elemental or shadow damage. I've found that a 2* skelly shield holds up better to fiends and undead than a 3* twisted targe, so it would probably be good to get an owlite shield for elemental resist and a shadow damage resist shield, even if they are only 2*.

My shields include a Grey
My shields include a Grey Owlite, Crest of Almire, Barbarous Thorn Shield, Ironmight Plate, Volcanic Plate, and I'm starting work on a Skelly Shield.
I find these keep me covered for all occasions.

Start building up that Plate
Start building up that Plate shield if you're only looking for defense, the thing is beastly either way you go.

TBH in most situations i either use Barbarous Thorn Shield or Swift Strike buckler. Currently working on an Omega Shell for my bombing set tho. However I have these shields.
Barbarous Thorn Shield
Crest of Almire
Grey Owlite Shield
Swift Strike Buckler
Drake Scale Shield (lol Omega Shell)
BTS gives DB med to swords
SSB gives ASI high to all weapons
I normally use vog/skolver combo (for melee, which is rarely used) + ASI/DB trinket + BTS. DB max, Asi VH
for Gunning set i'd use Seerus/Justifier/SSB + 2trueshots. Ctr med, DB VH, asi max.
Since Omega shell is purple (and my PC is violet) I'd want to use it for my bombing set, but thats about it. It has the highest HP out of any shield, but no special damage. Its situational but the only time i use a shield bombing is if people knock lumbers/other mobs into me.
What is your intended use.
