Activate switches and break crystals. I've seen some threads about Bombers wanting a non damaging punch of sorts, so they don't have to drop three bombs in order to get a simple crystal. Wouldn't making the shield bump able to do this solve that problem?

What about planting a bomb
What about planting a bomb charge on the crystal, with a prompt similar to picking up a statue, which destroys the crystal formation?

Actually, it kinda already does. When you shield is under constant attack like bumping on a shadowfire, destructible objects like boxes, torches, and crystals take hits.
I saw this during a vana run. D27, past the double trojan room, going straight up the middle of the wheel/shadfowfire/spike/firepits. I was shield walking to the crystal on the other side of the fire, and i walked into it.
Obviously not a viable method, and a quick way for bombers to destroy crystals would be nice.

i want a punch XD like press G to sheath weapon, punching is fast and does no damage to monsters, however can be used to break objects and trigger switches

what about a command (like G mentioned above) and you THROW the bomb like you were shooting with a gun, but dealing no damage to monsters but able to break blocks/cristals and trigger switches.

What if you instinctively shield up in IMF near a switch.
what about bombs conting thrice for breaking crystals and 3-hit blocks?
