Sorry to put this in general discussion thread but our issue hasn't been resolved and a people with the same problem as me ask me to move it to here. Not to mention not many read tech issues forum unless they got a problem. Last patch update has left some players with issues regarding chat. For no reason the chat would stop working and sometimes disconnect you from the game. It can be worked around but is still a pain in the [buttocks]. I hope people with the issue will respond here so we can get the Devs attention and resolve this problem. Submitting a bug report is also helpful so if you haven't done that please do so now.

Yea ive got the "chat problem" were whenever i press enter to type something, and then press the up arrow key my game crashes. Hopefully the bug gets fixed cus its a bit annoying/

Yep, I've been having problems too. Nothing as bad as disconnecting or crashing, but using the up arrow to bring up previous /w and such won't let me type, and it's getting very annoying to have to write out people's names over and over.

Yup. Java.exe stopped working. I can just reclient and load back up where I last was, but is quite an inconvenience. Thankfully I've only crashed in Haven.

I typically have this problem

I typically have this problem when I hit / to chat to either g or t. If I hit enter (which brings up the list of commands in the chat window since I only entered /) I can then use the chat window like normal and everything is "fixed" until it breaks again.

Hopefully this helps others who have problems with chat.

when u work on this bug, fix the spamming character bug too (hi;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;). all mac and linux users expirienced it. there is multiple threads about this bug already on this forum, use search function;)
