It's redundant, we already have other defensive armors for shock resistance.
Serell, you're probably right about the bad feeling; if we have too many Wolver variants it'd probably drive people away from the marginalized defensive armors, what with the sword boosting capabilities.

A clone of vog/skolver/vog with shock on it is totally worthless. But if instead it has a new bonus like CTR or 2 things at once (think mad bomber, mask of seerus) it may be interesting.
I do agree wolver has enough variants and it's time for some new armor models istead of recolor + a fancy effect.

what about just buff sets for other classes (gunner and bomber)?
wolver set has:
snarbolax: shadow-normal, poison- freeze resist, sword dmg med
skover: piercing-normal, freeze resisit, sword dmg med
vog: elemental-normal, fire res, sword ASI med
none has weakness, and all have a weapon bonus. we dont need more of this.
so what we need is a buff in gunslinger series, specially in ASI and DMG. we have 4 gunslinger sets, one should have CTR.
i think that Nameless should have gun DMG med (vog equivalent), Shadowsun with CTR and leave ASI to Justifier.

I doubt they'll add an amour just for the lightning aesthetic - and again, a lot of people have stated in the thread that Wolver armour is waaaay too oversaturated. Besides, the only thing you could add to the Wolver line (and stay with the whole 'buffs to swordsmen' thing) would be CTR.
Which would be nice, but personally it's not that useful - maybe if I charge spammed, but the built-in CTR in all weapons is sufficient enough.
Anyways, on another note, you did mention it causing shock as well. While this would be... interesting if you meant it to inflict shock on enemies (I'm not sure how that'd work), it would, again, be marginally useful unless it adds those traits to your weapon (which would cause an uproar) or if you were suicidal enough to go hug something.

Nice, but maybe a little less red (Or maybe a little more, lol). Even though Voltails are red, it makes it look too much like a dusker suit with electrical FX (Which I assume that's what he did).
I don't know how possible that is in Spiral-Spy because I don't use it, but I think at least some saturation difference or something to separate it further from a Dusker set would be kinda nice.

It's possible to do such a thing with the use of texture editing, along with adding in specs and effects. Spiral Spy is just a median in which such material could be viewed in.

We don't need a shock-resistant Wolver line armour urgently.
Bombers could do with Pierce and Shadow resistant armour first.
While I admit that a Voltail-skin armour would look cool, these other matters need sorting out first.
There's the Quicksilver line with Pierce and Shock resistance, although it has MSI instead of ASI.
And if you're asking for only positive feedback... you're never going to find out that there are issues with your ideas.
Negative feedback is how stuff gets improved.

what it after wolver each path had its own colors?
so instead of dusker and ash tail to each skover/vog/snarbolax we had different armors with the 'right' defense for each path? like:
wolver (normal) -> dusker (normal) -> new armor (normal) -> shock armor (normal) [this path with CTR]
wolver (normal)-> new armor (normal-elemental) -> new armor (normal-elemental) -> vog cub (normal-elemental)
wolver (normal) -> new armor (normal-piercing) -> ash tail (normal-piercing) -> skover (normal-piercing)
wolver (normal) -> new armor (normal-shadow) -> new armor (normal-shadow) -> snarbolax (normal-shadow)

saying a wolver with shock is OP is same as saying an elemental sword with a huge AoE charge attack which might cause shock is OP, just like Voltedge.

And if you're talking about the rare monsters, we already have the Vog Cub (which has gone to god knows where).
As for the equipment, if you're talking about a shock-based Wolver set... hmm, let's see what your idea is. Do you have a concrete suggestion for equipment (complete with data if possible)?
