Simply put, when a character enters the sleeping animation from inactivity, he does not remain sitting. I think that the sleeping animation (and any other low-energy emotion animations) should have a sitting counterpart.

I imagine this would be a low priority and a moderate amount of work for such a small aesthetic payoff. It's a good idea, but I wouldn't see it happening over, say, bug fixing or adding new content (like weapons, etc)

Its not like the Devs can only work on one thing at a time. I mean, there is more than just ONE of them.

Heh heh, yes, they do tend to work in teams, but my point is that Three Rings has a lot bigger things to work on, and even something this minor would require at least a small team to brainstorm, animate, test, etc.

Don't get me wrong - it's a good idea and I approve of it, I just don't see it happening with all this other stuff being suggested and implemented, considering it's just something convenient for the player to have.

They were able to add in a silly little emoticon chat update while working on a weapons update.

True it wasn't very successful but it shows that it's not always the seriously important things that they're focused on, because that's not all that matters. Sometimes we want fun updates.
