Which is the best gun to solo with?
Would the pulsars be better to solo with?
Are Biohazard and Neutralizer different in any way, besides that one deals normal damage the other dealing shadow, and Biohazard dealing poison?

Which gun would you recommend I solo bosses with?
I was thinking Bio for mobs and Royal Jelly. And I guess it would work fine with most other things.
eh... are you main gunner or sword, and what boss? Get biohazard if you are gunner, I guess. At the very least you are having fun with this gun mechanic.
Using Bio for Royal Jelly.
I was thinking since it has poision and shadow it should be easy to solo with just that, since I am not able to survive Royal Jelly up close.
A shadow driver/mk2 works fine for jk, if you understand the concept of alchemer clips and how to use them. And all you need to do is find 1 or 2 poison vials.
But to consider your op, a bio would be better for jk. But, in general clockworks, a polaris is better.
Oh then... I suggest to reconsider buying any new weapons and look up videos on youtube how to kill jelly king solo, even some of the videos only using 2* (or proto) gear. In theory, the best time to attack is immediately after jelly king attack. I usually charge, run in circle, royal jelly want to attack, avoid, get a bit close, release charge and hold shield, and run away again for swordie. And uh, just join random if you don't have any idea to kill it. Keep an eye for someone pro doing it, and learn their moves. Also utilize vials especially poison and curse. I don't know, it's your decision, I guess .__.
Actually, the Catalyzer is great for mobs... just keep firing for ~18 secs, then charge in a shoot all the charges... They cant even get close, cause almost all of them are marked... Major fun... ^-^
Don't look at Bio for Royal Jelly just because it carries poison.
Using an Umbra Driver or Sentenza is enough to push down the jelly king fast enough to where a Biohazard's damage output + poison is not worth it. Not only this, but having a poison causing wep can make poison vials not as useful as you could have them be.
For Ice Queen, you should worry more about raw damage than a poison causing weapon again. When it comes down to it, Royal Jelly and Ice Queen are both ridiculously easy the boss fights themselves.
Anyways
Biohazard = more for packs of jellies.
Neutralizer = more for packs of zombies.
You can use both on things other than jelly packs and zombies, but generally that is where you will find them the most useful.
Anything else, there tends to be a better gun for you to use. Both are specialized, both of their charge attacks do not benefit from damage bonus.
as a biohazard user I can recommend it. great for jellies (lichen colonies come to mind) as well as gremlin arenas where healers are involved (poison debuff) as well as jelly king and ice queen. not to mention that if you have a biohazard and polaris, jelly palace turns into something you do while sleeping.
Personally I'd just get a supernova, because it's normal damage (I've all 3 other damage type guns) and easy to use. In other words shoot and forget, but in a party i find myself using either sentenza or silversix (depending on scenario) more than others. I'd say pulsar is the easiest to use solo gun, Catas are harder and require more skill to use. It's up to you really, but I don't recommend bio, because Umbra and Sent outclass bio DPS wise (in terms of shadow damage). The poison hardly makes up for anything either. But I guess it's great for RJP (except i don't need no gun in RJP), and I suppose Neut is just an all rounder. Anyways rawrcake said it all.
Well what's the difference between Nuetralizer and Biohazard exactly?
It not having a status ailment AND being normal is very unattractive.
Considering how the only target neut does better than bio in is fiend and undeads...
Fiend: How are you ever going to land those slow bullets on devilites and greavers? Somewhat ridiculous to do. And trojans could be killed with neut, if that suits your fancy.
Undeads: Kats should be easier to land hits on. Howlizters too, and you can try to shoot it down before it gets to you. Zombies are the only likely target for neut, the hordes they come in tend to be suited for aoe and explosion styled damage.
personaly i'd rather have a neutralizer (don't say i need to get a bio). but does any1 know about the ups-and-downs of the neutralizer?
Neutralizer's base damage on charge is more powerful than Biohazard's. Being normal, it's usable against fiends and undead - essentially allowing it use in places like FSC. Kind of handy if you have a vortex with you.
With max damage in D24, it does 500 damage per charge. Biohazard's neutral damage is around 440-450, I think.
The-Rawrcake is actually right, I have a Umbra Driver and Sentenza, and I don't think Biohazard is worth getting because Neutralizer can work with any enemy types.
Biohazard is more for specific situation. I wouldn't recommend to get bio if this would be your only gun. Also, I don't like normal damage type (neutralizer in this case) since the correct damage type (shadow against gremlin + slime) could boost your damage ~40% on tier 3. Polaris is more general for monsters you couldn't reach. Gun puppies and Howlitzer (weak against elemental) are the common examples. As a swordie, I would stay away from using gun until I really need it. Because guns are generally weaker than sword damage with all sword related bonus equipment.
