First everyone complains because pendants are ultra rare and uber-expensive, then devs makes pendants cheaply available, yet people keeps whining. Sure, let strikers have minimal HP, then everyone will play like cowards with guardian class + 2 pentas. Great ideas.
If we remove trinkets, many players won't be able to keep up with uv'd weapons. I play with asi trinks, because I don't have those asi high uv's, and so I need those to be offensive and to get in hits.
Heart pendants are certainly not the most 'honorable' thing to use in LD. But, like most games, there is a "cheap" set of armor/weapons that everyone wears since it works the best.
Also, nerfing something this widely-used for one class will make all the other classes relatively OP.
Finally, even though they don't pop up often, have you tried killing a Guardian with 2 pentas? I am a Guardian only because I have no trinkets at all, but some Guardians (*cough*badworm*cough*) play with 2 pentas, and take FOREVER to kill.
However, I'm not utterly against deactivating them.
In fact, I think it'd make everyone's experience better if you could only wear one Heart trinket. People would have to mix it up a bit. Use a Penta and a Damage trinket, or something...instead of everyone running in with 2 pentas and tanking Guardians. Not sure how plausible it is to force someone to equip one heart trinket (Since the recognition system would have to detect a Penta/Tetra combo, for instance), but I think it'd work better.
Or, you can simply be like Deoghee, and tear people to shreds with 12 pips of HP.

The class roles are balanced by the amount of HP they have
Striker having the least, recon a little more and guardian having tons of HP
With 2 penta hearts striker will have more HP than a guardian without HP trinkets. That's some nice balance you got there. Not everyone is still able to get those penta hearts, why are they even an option if they want to go for balance? UV's are kinda the same deal except more blatant. That FF with ASI max costed the owner some sweet crowns and very few people can ever get that kinda weapon. Weapon that gives you like 90% better win chance against a person with the same item without the UV
IMO PVP should have more of it's own gear that forces some values, balanced separately for the PvP

Make everyone have same ping like person with the biggest ping (so everyone lag in same way)!
Make everyone use same class so people stop complaining that some of them are too OP!
Make lockdown turn based so people wont complain that they are too slow or other are too skilled!
Remove players from lockdown and make the system calculate who is winning and who is loosing!

Not everyone has them. I don't, and frankly it's not cool when a Striker has more HP than me, a Guardian.
I still think that any heart trinket should be limited to only having 1 of them, so people have to use an ASI/Damage/etc. trinket.

but they are easy to get. even at a 40% win streak in LD you only need to play ~40-45 games for the emorocks. ends up being about 2kcr. plus crafting costs using all mist is only ~6.5kcr and you have a 3* trinket. all of that you can make with a few hours play over 3-4 days and a RJP run and a half.
and since you don't need recipes up to 5* is a lot cheaper than all other items
It's not that I don't want to craft them.
It's that I don't want to waste my money on Trinket Slots, since I don't play LD very often anymore. Why get a 30-day expansion if I'll use it for 2 days then stop playing?
It's just a waste of resources.

Trinket slots are pretty cheap. I guess this just comes from someone who enjoys LD on a regular basis. Plus i've been seeing alot of people selling slots for <100 CE around. Also trinkets help in PvE
Heart trinkets are INCREDIBLY CHEAP. People complaining are just too dumb to realize this fact. It's either you don't have them or you do. Either you hate them or love them.
PvE isn't hard enough to worry about needing trinkets...
Trinket slots are pretty cheap, tetras are pretty cheap (Not uber cheap, but pretty cheap), but I'm not a LD common face. I just play for all the recipes. Once that's done, I'm likely not going to play LD again. So, it's just a waste of resources for me, when I can manage without them by playing Guardian (Mostly).

@Severage i think you SHOULD suggest/ask for Sullivan's recipes don't get bind on acquire, instead of asking for heart pendant banning. There are people who's willing to drop hundreds of CE in LD gear, and want to be really competitive, while other people doesn't care about LD and just want stuff from Sullivan.
Clearly OOO Devs are incredibly cheap a******s by forcing everyone to play LD even if they don't want/can be competitive enough.

I didn't ask for pentas to be banned...
I'm asking for people to use a different playstyle instead of "OMG STAK HP LOL". Would it really hurt for Strikers to use ASI/Damage trinkets, which is what they're made for, instead of stacking pentas? All I asked was for a single heart to be attached at a time. This goes for Guardians/Recons too.
So, while I respect your opinion as a frequent LD-player, you're not even paying attention to what I'm saying, simply dismissing me as a noob for mentioning heart trinkets.

Have the striker class reduce your maximum health by a percentage, rather than a flat amount. This way, the more health you have, the more you lose, and would make people think twice about using pentas on the striker class (given that its the correct percentage).
Strikers are the fast moving, speed users who move fast and pwn and enemy before he can see it. Heart trinklets now allow strikers on both teams to stay in the playing field for long thus allowing them to fight some more. Did i mention HOW MUCH FUN STRIKER VS STRIKER IS!!!!!
Now heart trinklets are not really overpowered considering the Damage certain weapons do. I mean, if an unexperienced striker comes in front of you, you do one or 2 hits with an asi Grand Faust and he lies dead... Swatted like a fly, his striker ambitions scattered. Thats where heart trinklets come in. With these things you definitely cannot kill a striker that easily if he has 2 of those +6 trinklets. And remember you have to play lockdown to make these trinklets too. So everyone gets pwned some time or the other.
If you guys are against health so much, then go ahead start protesting against Ancient Plate set in lockdown. that would be even more sensible.
And strikers are the players who annoy people the most, so the discussion is normally turned towards them. Imagine a person having the Ancient plate set, 2 +6 trinklets and is a guardian... No one wants to talk about that now do we?

Let me explain to you the very basis of the flaws in Lockdown.
- Skolver is not proportional to any other armor. Simply put: Skolver is better.
- Defensive classes like Ancient Plate are under powered. Simply put: slow = interrupted. Interrupted = dealing no damage.
- Bombers are support; they are meant to aid Others by making no mans land, keeping enemys in that no mans land, inflicting debuffs, and dealing AoE damage to a invading crowed. Simply put: Others want to be the (Current) best, so they go striker and leave good old bomberman to go it alone. Its dangerous to go it alone.
- Gunners are there to pester and interrupt all the other classes. They also have the widest range of acceptable classes; Nimble jets, sneaky recons, and team aiding Guardians. Simply put: no one is there to save them, no Guardians, no bombers.
- MAJOR FLAW: None of the other classes are viable because there is no teamwork, and everything is stacked for Wolvers. All wolvers means no bombers, gunners, or true Guardians.

So, I wear Fallen armor. Fact is, my gear isn't very "good". I also Use a Sudaruska. It isn't very "good". So tell me how? I am quite skilled, the fact that i get ANY damage with the Suda is proof. The distortion between armors is so great that it completely blacks out anyone else's true skill.

Here's what I think:
- Striker: health bonus is % based.
- Guardian: Not only increase the interrupt factor by how slow the weapon you use is, But the wearing the gardian shield increases your resistance to being interrupted. By a lot.
- Bomber: Really? the only thing that helps a bomber is one or two good Teammates. Thats up to the LD playing community. If LD becomes more fair, then I'm sure more team based players will play, because its not a striker-fest anymore.
- Important! This will help TWO of FOUR problems! Balance out ALL gear. Fact is, Wolver is better. Nerf it, or boost the rest. I do suggest nerfing the Wolver though, because everything Should have a downside.
- Remove or severely nerf Auto Aim ONLY while in the LD arenas and waiting room.
- Balance some weapons. See below...
Flourishes having the same swing range as a DA or Suda? It does not make sense for a rapier to do that and cause any real damage, much less interrupt others. Fix #1: Take the damage from the first swing, and throw most, if not all on the other two swings. Fix #2: (The better one.) Change the first swing to a stab; longer ranged then a medium speed sword, and less wide. More stabby, less "OMFG HOW DID THAT HIT MEEE?"
Pulsars need to have even slower rounds... Try 3/4ths of what is has now. It is far too randomexplosiondeath at the moment. as a trade, add another bullet perhaps. It should be noted though that I dont really have a good definite "Fix" for this yet.
Bombs are already nerfed enough. They are balanced and require nothing really. Perhaps boost the speed of the DR, for better interruption.
Give the Troika line the ability not to be interrupted while swinging, they are the slowest in the game, and you can play a game in which you deal absolutely no damage due to constant interruption.

my random, in my opinion, simple idea:
Striker: no HP for them! but can use Dmg Bonuses (hence the name Striker?)
Guardian: HP with a percentage takin off.
Recon (worst LD class unless u happen to own bombs with CTR): allowed to use CTR bonuses
ps. Tsu got a point. LD players rarely work as a team. (i always ask in Team Chat if i can tag along with someone....no reply) so change the gameplay or whatever to force players to work as a team :)
pss. Bring Chaos Cloak back or into LD!!!!
