Java error

When I try to change Haven's or when I try to search the AH by category I get a Java error and it closes the program. I've tried uninstalling Spiral Knights and reinstalling as well as uninstalling Java and reinstalling. Neither fixed the problem. Is there a fix for this? Is it a Java problem or a bug in Spiral Knights?
I'm running the latest version of Java according to the Java website. Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings,

If you are playing via Steam then you will need to manually update the Java version that steam uses.

  1. Navigate to your system Java installation (usually C:\Program Files\Java\jre6) and copy the entire contents.
  2. Navigate to your Steam Spiral Knights Java location. (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\spiral knights\java_vm)
  3. Paste in the system Java installation from earlier, overwriting all files.
