I noticed there are not so many players playing lockdown in tier 2.
Often there are 0 people waiting and 0 people playing, depending on time of day.

If there was gear progression based on PvP, then more people would play it, and the game would be more fun generally speaking.

Right now there is one kind of gear progression: Crystal energy progression: You buy CE and then you get better gear. Both PvE and PvP are almost pointless (unless you want to spend a lifetime playing a game to get 5 star equipment).

There are PvP tokens but they do not give you any advantage. With these tokens you buy recipes. Then you have to spend the same amount of CE and crowns to craft those weapons or equipment.

In order to still provide incentive for people to buy CE, PvP gear could for example only provide 2 star and 4 star equipment. Or perhaps 2, 3 and 4 star gear (only certain sets and weapons, not all sets or weapons).

In short, I am proposing that players could buy certain items with PvP tokens, instead of just recipes.

This will never happen. If

This will never happen. If players could just get around crafting and get their weapons with tokens, less CE would be bought (A big part of it is used for crafting), Three Rings would lose their pofits and CE prices would go skyrocket. Bad for everybody. Game ruined. Of course that depends on which weapons would be available for tokens, but the idea itself is selfish and destined to ruin SK. -1

If more people play the game

If more people play the game then that also means more profits. Making the game more attractive to players in general (including 'free to play' players) can, in the long run, make the game more profitable.

To be honest with you, I don't see many players playing the game right now. Maybe that is just my impression?

It is almost to hard to find 10 people to play tier 2 pvp!

... I mean even if it is only 3 star gear, it might make tier 2 pvp more attractive...

Thats not true if you give stuff for free :p

Besides if people dont want to play T2 LD, dont force them to play LD. It's a mini-game, not the core gameplay.

Not true if you give people stuff for free? Totally true. If it attracts more people, more people play, more other people want to pay OOO to advertise their stuff.
Still -1 this suggestion, though

Tl;dr iz kewl, implement

Tl;dr iz kewl, implement nao.

@Serell: Not exactly. That influx of new players will require more resources for OOO to manage, and the ones that turn to paying in all likeliness is not proportional to the population increase. Sure, other factors and stuff are out there, but this game isn't bad to the point of p2p outnumbering f2p.

Bogdly:

You only see a handful of people playing T2 LD, but there's usually 75~100 people in T3 LD 24/7. Maybe like 4 AM in US timezone it goes down a lot, to like 30~40, but still. T2 is the least-played LD I think. Most people are either 5* and play T3, or are 5* and ragecraft newby gear to play T1. T2 is right in the middle and encompasses only a small number of LD players.

I think he's on EU server, because US rarely has nobody playing lockdown.
