I've noticed every-so-often my second swing with my Avenger won't hit critical against things like constructs and undead. My friend said he hasn't had this issue, but it happens to me sometimes for an entire level when in a gate.

I just recently got my Avenger and noticed this too. I didn't see if it was the actual damage that suffered the loss or not, but I know for sure the numbers dont show up in that weird bold brown font.
