While i was taking a shower i thought of this Idea (I think a lot in the shower don't judge me!) We have Super and Ultra Remedy Capsules! We all know what the regular ones do, but these will not only take away status effects they will make you immune to them for a limited amount of time! The super one will make you immune for 5 secs while Ultra makes you immune for 10 secs!
What do you guys think? (Be critical but not mean)

An interesting idea! +1

That's an interesting proposition you have there, Damastaa. Status immunity would certainly make sense with remedy pills, but I'm wondering about the usefulness of this property. I've rarely seen status effects stacked or new ones applied (I have seen it, but rarely) within 5-10 seconds of the first application. It really only happens if someone isn't dodging very well, so it would only be used in quantity by newbies.

That said, the "noob excuse" hasn't stopped the existence of the similar health capsules. Furthermore, status hazes and elemental grates have a way of "magically appearing" when you're pushed around by a Trojan or just not paying attention, so using a capsule for temporary resistance would make a good strategy. It would also offer the player some benefit when the capsules are used even when they're not immediately needed.

So, on the balance, I'll give you a +1.

I dont like the idea of full 100% immunity to everything.
What if it just gives increased defenses, maybe equal to a maximun UV, for each status.

Okay Jose

I always pick up the blue pills anyway, but adding temporary immunity to statuses takes away the point of using one; something shocks you, you back up and use a remedy, you go back in. Giving temporary immunity would let people spam attack while under its effects and burn them quicker trying to keep up the defense.

I like this idea for attempting to branch out in vials, but remedies are merely status cures.

Effort: 6/10
Creativity: 8/10
Detail: 7/10
Mechanical applicability: 6/10
Profits Three Rings: 2/10

+1 for added resistance, not for immunity

It would be a fun addition IMO.

Buck up, boyo

My grading scale probably looks like I hate this idea, but there are far worse; I have given many scores below an accumulative four out of fifty due to incompetent and/or vague concepts with minimal effort, such as a couple sentences before demanding other posts give more information.

What are you going to do about it

You have a few options to address your issue:

1- Think through ideas before posting them; when you do post them go into detail of its use and how it may bring new content to the game
2- Make more threads like this, receive moderate* criticism, give up
3- Whine and give up
4- Bluebrawler
5- Suicide

* If you can call the criticism on this thread moderate; to me it seems minor. Basically, all we want here is a balanced effect from T2 and T3 remedies which do not make the user temporarily immune to statuses. If you want me to "yell" at you I can but this thread is not bad enough to do so.

We're not yelling at you. At least not me. You want to see me yelling? Go check out my post in Bluebrawler's "Lost souls in graveyard" thread. That's me yelling at someone for stupidity.

You actually have some creativity and the like to your idea.

Novel idea

I have to say this idea is pretty interesting because I never liked how other vials would have updated pictures while the remedy capsules are still the single dots from T1. I do have to agree that it might be OP because of just being able to spam them with no ill effects.

On the other hand the max resistance idea is interesting but would it only apply to the armour/helm or effect the shield too?
Also will it include all resistances? I think a better idea would be cure whatever is afflicting you and only have that resist for the next ten seconds or so

An idea:

T1: No resistance, pure cleansing effect.
T2: Resistance equivalent to a Med UV, 5 Sec effect.
T3: Resistance equivalent to a Max! UV, 7 Sec effect.

One of the best ideas I've seen on this forum for a while. I agree that resistance instead of total immunity would be better game-wise.
Imperialstriker proposals posted above seems reasonable.

10 seconds is a bit long for immunity, don't you think? Maybe just resistance. Other than that I think it could be a great addition.
