I don't think this has been suggested before so here is my idea.
When we finish a level in the clockworks, we gain heat, that goes towards all our equipped gear that has room to level up. This can be slow when you have all weapon slots with unfinished weapons in them, with room to level up, as it adds more things for the heat to go into and has it divided into even smaller parts for each item, making it longer to level up your gear.
"But I just want to get my Avenger to level 10," you say. "I just want to upgrade it to Divine Avenger!"
You consider taking off your gear that isn't level ten yet to have more heat for your Avenger, but that would be wasting your weapon slots you bought and used today. With my probably unoriginal idea implemented, you simply go to character view, click "Remove heat giving to all", which only stops all items getting heat, select a piece of gear and choose "Give heat to (insert gear name here) and now all heat gained go to that item! You want to level two pieces? Maybe 3? Simply select another and choose "Share Heat"
Yay! Now two items are getting heat!
"But what if I forget to select an item for my heat to go to?" you ask, "NONE of my items would get heat then."
Well, if you don't select an item before leaving, then it simply selects all items for heat to go to again! There is also a "Give Heat to All" button, which does what it says.
"OH YAY" you say, "I like this idea" you say, before giving me your crowns because I am poor.
I hope that wasn't too confusing, guys.
