Things like Helm-Mounted Display, Ribbons, Com units, etc are always placed on the right of our characters.
Things like Crests, Parry blades, etc are always on the left.
We should also be able to change the direction of bomb bandoliers.

My idea is to add some sort of new opton to change this with bechamel. You give him an accesory and he gives a 'flipped' version of it FOR FREE.

Meh.

Thing is, they could make more money by creating right and left versions. >_>

Personally, I don't have much against being able to flip them for free, but I don't know if OOO would agree with it.

"but I don't know if OOO would agree with it"

Think about the speed that OOO resolves bugs and problems and puts their faith in the player community to be telling the truth, and the enthusiasm they have when helping players. The development team reminds me of Mojang.

I think badges should be a uniform thing, but +1 to flipping all other accessories.

I agree with you, and OOO's level of response to players' input is one of the reasons I enjoy Spiral Knights. However, the point stands that OOO can make money off of accessories with different handedness. Were flipping allowed, it would be great if it was free, but there's a possibility that it won't be.

On a more practical note, I thought about the handedness on Bandoliers and Side Blades. It actually seems more proper to me that these retain their handedness - the way they're currently designed fits with the fact that knights hold weapons in their right hands. I'd still like if we could flip them for aesthetic purposes, though.
