So I've been playing around with both weapons in FSC, trying to determine a clear cut superior choice. These are my observations thus far:

As both swords are identical in damage, this will be a breakdown of their charge attacks.

Final Flourish:
+Charge attack is useful for "chasing down" dash-happy trojans
+Charge attack can reliably carve up zombies in a single motion
-Very dangerous if timing is off, as the attack's movement can usually throw you into spikes
-Poor/nonexistant crowd control capability

Barbarous Thorn Blade:
+Thorn spray's handy for things other than fiends
+Charge attack is a handy utility to get zombies out of your breathing space, great crowd control capability
-In experience, harder to fully connect to trojan backsides
-Lacks speed necessary to fight things other than trojans. Also, it seems to me that thorns qualify as projectiles Wolvers will happily dodge.

Anyone want to offer their thoughts?

Random stuff...

Final Flourish:
+ Shiny
+ Can be Ragecrafted for ideal UVs

Barbarous Thorn Blade:
- Expensive Recipe Cost(s)

Also, both of them have crowd control capabilities. Shield-cancel swipe away at the zombies. The first swing has knock-back equivalent (if not superior) to heavy swords, in addition to being fast and easily spammed.

The knockback is weaker, but can be executed quickly in rapid succession.

Between Flurry and Barbarous, it simply comes down to preference; high damage or projectile utility charge attack?

I know they both have

I know they both have excellent-godlike crowd control capabilities, I use it to push zombies out of the way in 26. I'm talking about their charges and BTB's spray of thorns that flings enemies away.

Final Flourish

In FSC, Barbarous Thorn Blade's charge attack really is nothing more than an inferior version of Divine Avenger's charge.

@Meta
BTB's charge & DA's charge are totally different. DA is long range and more narrow while BTB's is wide and short (not even going into the obvious DMG type differences).

@FF-users (I use BTB)
How well does the FF's charge work for one shotting Trojans? I typically run with Sword DMG Max & ASI VH. Please, consider party size also.

The FF charge has really good damage, it almost one shot on trojan with 4 party members (I never run into max sword damage so not really sure the exact damage). Well at most you just need to poke another one two combo. And the FF charge could be 5-hit combo if you keep mashing attack button. (three hits from charge -> first swing -> final lunge).
But accuracy is essential, most likely you should hold auto-target for a moment to make sure all 3-hit connected on trojan when it's doing attack animation.

Have been toying with the idea of switching to FF just for Trojan one shotting (if it can). I know a Blitz can one shot a Trojan (4man) if it is running at least DMG VH.

It doesn't one shot

In my experience, it doesn't one-shot unless you are solo. However, the Flourish charge can easy go straight into a 3-hit combo, which, when combined with the charge, will nearly kill the Trojan.

Albeit I only have +dam VH with swords.

@trojans

Final Flourish charge with Max Damage (I used BTS, Veil, and a Slash Mod) will one shot trojans UP TO Depth 26.
Past that, charge and one slash.
I haven't dorked around with Barbarous Thorn Blade enough to get concise results, but a full on charge will one shot trojans at D25. Problem is, it's hard to align it completely.
