I would save it at 3* for a while.
You might just hold onto that one for a little bit. As of right now the Nitronome greatly outshines all of the other Blast line bombs to a ridiculous degree.
I would be surprised if the Big Angry Bomb &/or Irontech Destroyer don't get buffed sooner or later so that they become useful (Deconstructor too, but you are past the split for that one) . This is pure speculation, but one of these could get turned into the pure Elemental damage bomb that we have been lacking for some time. If so your UV would be even better on a pure Elemental bomb.

Hmmm
Nitronome is a damage bomb for bombers, not a support bomb for non-bombers. So that means:
Volcanic Demo Helm + Mad Bomber Suit + 2x Elite Boom Modules = CTR maximum, DMG maximum. You might as well sell that bomb.

Not so. Some bombers (usually with CTR, though, rather than +monster) like having the flexibility of swapping out one armour piece for something type-appropriate, and/or for a boost to a secondary (non-bomb) weapon. Get CTR Med on everything and you free up one trinket/armour slot for whatever you like. That's not bad, is it? I can see the same logic applying to +monster, albeit with less flexibility.
